open house was all right i guess...was just dance dance n more dance for me...yeah we need more zai dances...but right now i'm very much suffering from a brain drain....my grooves (i.e. grooves on brain) are smoothening out, which is not a very good sign....kinda exhausted my dance moves, i need more inspiration for choreographyyy!!!
today was the first time i was truly feeling insecure and inconfident about fac dance...it's not easy to not compromise aesthetic appeal of the dance with simpler moves...and i'm working hard on it...trying to recall the days where i choreographed dances for squaddies...=) and it gets worse when others have so much confidence in me...much more than what i have for myself at the moment....but yeah, it's still very much appreciated....
thursday's gonna be halloween celebrations! i'm genuinely excited... i lo0vee haunted trails, horror movies etc...to challenge my guts...to come close to a dimension which i would sometimes rather not to be in touch with at all..... oh and of course, the sl-turned dance floor...i really hope people won't be too shy or self-conscious to let go.... come on, it's halloween! so what if you bo0gie like a ghoul?
class concert... finallyyy...our venue is confirmed to be the chinese high drama centre (99%)... anyway, all i can say is that we've put in so much effort to prepare for this concert and most of the decisions and contacts were made several several months ago... if only our ct could be more assertive and responsible...enthusiastic too, maybe.... in the end honyi, tings and i wen to see (beg) mrs chin by oursleves.....talk about efficiency....we have managed to nail the drama centre on the 15th nov...
sometimes it's better to take charge of things...teachers may not be much of a help reallyy... & to be very very frank, we were very very pissed. the tickets are ready the banner is ready and so is the announcement. we-need-the-venue. it's not as if we gave short notice, unless you call several months' notice a short one. if only you could've exercised more responsibility and done what we have done yesterday and today, none of this would have happened. i'm sorry but it is utterly ridiculous to claim that there's nothing one can do when the other party doesn't reply. think. think. other contacts, other avenues, alternatives... go bug them; be polite, yet remain firm and assertive. we do not sit and wait to be fed. we hunt.
i do not think that you don't care. i just see the countless flaws in your manner of handling matters...flaws so glaring they blind, such that you do not see. in this aspect, you'll have to learn from your students. a good example: just as we receive your sms saying you will talk to the vice principal tomorrow, we are already knocking on her office door to commence a discussion.
