sidetrack: upon request...my beautiful clean n green competition pic -.-"
it's been quite a while since my last entry eh.... been real busy with last minute dance competitions and of course! our very own 05a12 class concert!! oh mannn i can't believe we actually did it, after countless doubts, disappointments and dreary anticipation (sounds ironic but yeah)... it's the kinda feeling whereby mounds of excitement piles on you but at the very bottom, there's brewing uncertainty as to whether it would be a success... and just like when they say the higher you hope the harder you fall, the bulging dome of uncertainty begins filling up inside (for those who take geography, it feels like a magma dome) as excitement on the surface intensifies.... we fear of a similar tragedy as the Mt. St. Helen's eruption, in which the magma dome exploded, causing a double catastophe.....
fortunatelyfortunatelyfortunatelyfortunatelyyy......our hard work paid offf!!! we cordoned off the front area of the drama centre and the rest of the seats were filled! it's understandable that most, actually, all of the people didnt expect much, thus we sorta blew them off! we heard many people commenting that it was much better than they thought...and trust me, my sentiments exactly. i think we did fabulous! the lightings, the performances, the costumes, the audience response etc...although there were a few hiccups, to hell with them haha! negligiblenegligiblenegligible..... =)
it was a magical night......we did it all by ourselves.
and there are so many people i have to thank....thanks for being there with us and giving us every inch of support you can afford....it really means alot to us as individuals and as a class....absolutely unforgettable.
got to know my class better...we were so united for the first three months, then we were segregated...things got worse along the way. but through this concert, i'm sure somehow, in some ways, we kinda revived 05a12 and i hope this lasts...gets even better...
oh and of course, got to know the guys in entropy better too (nice chat at adam food centre)... entro peeee! haha...and i realised edmund was also in my npcc atc group back in sec 3 like kenneth...i'm sorry i took so long to realise hurhur....anw, thank you guys you all did great =) thank you my mad peeps for performing also...know you all were tired out from the competitions too...
suan! thank you for all you've done...the sweat & tears shed...priceless...and thank you all 05a12 peeps...thankyouthankyouthankyou sososo much....
and honyi! haha...my lesbian friend...(btw we are straight -- i figure hons would prefer a bracketed clarification haha)...i love our duet and finally...finally we have chemistry! after all the failed attempts at training our mo qi...it has finally surfaced....=)
ohoh and our class tee....beautiful...i did the front 05a12 design; yingfen designed the "if there ain't got love" on the side of the tee; suan designed the back!
