omg i don't know where to begin!! chronology shall do hmzz...

Let's jammm!!!

[N.u.t.] we were extremely apprehensive about the calibrating and setting up of the system and amps...it was bad communication and organisation...we couldn't rehearse during full dress coz david was overseas and mad and brian were awfully ill...and all of us regretted it, though it's not our fault or wadsoever.... the ridiculous thing is, i had to contact 4 different groups of people separately to get together the equiment/settings we need. i mean, i'm okay with contacting n all but firstly, i'm not familiar with these equipment calibration n settings at all; secondly, these 4 groups of people are just workin on their own they probably found it too troublesome to at least pay attention to what one another is doing/providing. so naturally everything went haywire. i tried to hard to get all the stuff we require and for everything to come together before the actual day but there's a limit to what i can accomplish when these 4 grps of people have near zero interaction...i'm not putting the blame on anyone n it's no one's fault like what i've told honyi, it's just a lack of organization...a total lack. even after the orientation itself i had to double as a messenger to tell the school band people where to get their instruments back. i can't say i'm pissed coz i'm not; i just found it rather ridiculous on how things went -- and we were supposed to be guest performers.

as if the mess wasn't sufficient to dampen our moods, madmad's guitar string broke halfway through the performance. great. she couldn't play. so she just stood around to sing harmony while i try not to go offtune without the main chords n my bandmates trying to pull this whole thing off nicely. poor mad i hope she's feeling better now...it was really two bad days in a row for her, right after the sudden death of her dog. she just snapped after our screwed "gig". madmad dun be sad okk??

anyway, the gig was kinda screwed from our pov, but it still rocked the crowd! thanks to the councillors who were raving and made the j1s join in...haha...someone always has to get the ball rolling or else people will just sit down n watch, nodding their heads (consciously) to the music and mouthing the lyrics, but never raving.....hahah thanks honyi n shitty n lingkai etc (the zi4 high pple)!! in the end everyone stood up n jumped around...well, at least we accomplished what we were there for -- hyping up the crowd =).

to my band: you guys rockkk, despite the countless hiccups!! and i wanna thank jona especially, for being such a responsible leader at that crucial moment...rushing around making sure everything was gonna be alright...all of us really appreciate your efforts dude...haha if only u'd scrap that vulgarity machine gun u'll be a hero wooohoo!

[ares fac dance] quoting xun: "ares fac dance was ownage! own own own ownage!!" ok my blog cant read caps but the last line is supposed to be in caps haha....apparently u can't find ownage in the dictionary (coz i tried) and it's supposed to be some chinese high lingo i thk....anwwww.....we were h0tttt!! thanks sua for being such a sexyy partner! hahaha....mrs june tay came running backstage and she was exclaiming like a schoolgirl, "it's damn cool! it's damn cool! i wanna learn, must teach me!!" though i made a minor mistake in the dance, i'm sure we all did gr8 =)...well, at least suan nosebled after that! (are you ok girl?! hahah). i'm not sure if apollo's dance was better but i guess we have different styles...ares is h0ttt; apollo is kewlll...~~~haha we're friendly rivals!! *glaress*

[let's jamm!!] the fireball was phenomenal....had fun shouting "let's burn, let's burn!" coz the "let's" in the "let's jam" structure refused to burst into flames...haha...you could see the flames struggling to answer our cheers, and finally it did it!! the words "let's jam" and the guitar structure were burning proudly and so were we =) went insane dancing mass dance with wankai (esp "set on you"!)...i kept doing the wrong steps but with constant high energy @@""....haha bet i looked retarded but who cares?! everyone was just almooossttt as retarded wad!! had loads of fun with my jnr class too...then we all went to kap for supper! kap was flo0ded with hc people...inside n outside...we literally "bao1" the place that night haha......it felt go00oo0odd......
